Carjacking Attempt with shots-fired

08/15/14 Aurora, CO – 10:05PM Aurora Police responded to a call of shots-fired in the vicinity of E. 9th Ave. and North Victor St. in association with either an armed robbery attempt or a carjacking attempt.  When cops arrived they learned nobody was hit by the reported multiple gun shots. Moments later APD executed a “High-Risk” car stop of a Cadillac sedan nearby in the 1200 block of North Potomac St., stopping the car at gunpoint.  The cops also contacted two males at a gas station located at E. 6th Ave. and N. Potomac St. as part of their investigation.  Numerous APD officers were involved at multiple scenes as part of this reported felony incident.  This shots-fired event ended with the cops taking at least one male into custody at the intersection of 13th Ave. and Xapary.  Scene photos below.  Shane Anthony reporting AuroraNews1.com
