Nice parking job – “NOT!” 08/26/14

08/26/14 Aurora, CO – So, super early in the wee hours on this date some knucklehead drove his (or her) car into a pond located located at 253 S. Joliet Circle (Joliet and and Alameda Ave.)  As humorous as this seems to you and me, it made serious middle-of-the-night work for AFD (Aurora Fire Department) as they had to put divers in the water to make sure nobody was trapped in the murk.  AFD determined that nobody was in the water and the car then was yanked out by a tow truck.  If you know who was driving this car on this date please encourage him (or her) to use the valet next time they park in this apartment complex.  PS, hats off to AFD Battalion Chief Cynthia Andersen and her Fire Rescue companies for putting in a very busy 24-hour shift on this date running on a rollover crash, a shooting and this incident amongst others.  I hope you got some well-earned rest Chief Andersen!  Shane Anthony reporting AuroraNews1.com
