Fleeing car crash suspect held by cops at gun-point 08/31/14

08/31/14 Aurora, CO – Breaking News. Exclusive report:  Around 10PM tonight Aurora cops stumbled upon a car that tagged the Red Robin restaurant at S. Havana St. and E. Florida Ave in an accident, chased a couple fleeing suspects down on foot and held at least one of those suspects at gun point while other officers rushed to the scene lights-and-sirens blazing.  The driver apparently lost control of the car while driving on Florida Ave., struck the building and both car occupants then bailed out on foot.  A fast-acting APD officer spotted the two fleeing the scene, called for cover and held the one party at gun-point for a brief time until back-up cops arrived.  At least one arrest took place at this scene and that suspect was treated for injuries having fallen on the pavement while running from the cops.  No injuries were reported in the restaurant.  Shane Anthony reporting AuroraNews1.com
