You can run, but you cannot hide in A-Town! 09/01/14

09/01/14 Aurora, CO – It happened again Folks! Just like we reported last month.  A suspected hit-and-run driver gets chased down and tackled by Aurora citizens!  This time it happened around 10:40PM at S. Oswego St.and E. Exposition Ave.  This dude was reportedly screaming down Expo in a car, loses control, almost strikes a house, bails out on foot then Bam!  Two citizens take him down and detain him till cops arrive.  There was plenty of initial confusion at the scene, including Aurora Fire (AFD) calling for emergent police help for a possibly armed man.  Folks came out of the wood-work to see all the excitement!  One neighbor stated that there had been 3 wrecks here in the last year alone!  She said she wants speed bumps!  Nice work on that citizen’s arrest A-Town neighbors!  Shane Anthony reporting AuroraNews1.com
