Serious accident at Chambers Rd. and I-70 sends 6 to hospital 09/06/14

09/06/14 Aurora, CO – A serious two car accident accident occurred around 11AM this morning where Chambers Rd. intersects the west bound I-70 off ramp.  According to Aurora PD a Ford Explorer and a Chevy Tahoe collided when a light changed red.  Four adult males were in the Tahoe and one passenger of that car was ejected during the crash.  That person was critically injured and the other 3 Tahoe occupants were transported to local hospitals with serious injuries as well.  The Explorer was occupied by two adults and 4 young children all of whom were restrained.  A female passenger and one child from the Explorer were transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.  Aurora cops say had the occupants of the Tahoe been restrained as the occupants of the Explorer were, their injuries would likely have been much less severe.  Shane Anthony reporting AuroraNews1.com
