Stolen Aurora “Puffer Car” with child left inside: Exclusive Slideshow 12/30/14

12/30/14 Aurora, CO – Well folks, we broke this story late last night and now the rest of the Denver Media has followed the Leader on this scoop.  You may have seen a few of our Exclusive Photos of last night’s stolen “Puffer-Car Caper” in North Aurora on other websites or TV channels today but we were the first Media Outlet in the area to report this story.  To recap; according to the Aurora Police Department (APD) a woman left her child unattended in a running car in the 220o block of N. Kenton St. last night around 8:20PM.  She returned to witness a man driving her car away with her 3 year old child in the car.  She calls the cops and Bam! 10 minutes later they spot her car near E. 23rd ave. and N. Ironton St.  The driver parks the car and bails out with the cop in foot pursuit.  The car-thief left fresh footprints in the snow near 22nd and Jamaica St. but slipped into the snowy night.  Luckily the cops found the toddler safe and sound in the back of the stolen sedan!  Great work APD!  Aurora Police and the East Metro Auto Theft Team (EMATT) would like your help in finding this car-crook who endangered a 3 year old child and scared that kid’s mother to death.  The suspect is described by the cops as a black male,  5’8″ and slim. At the time of the crime he was wearing a blue sweatshirt, grey sweatpants, and a stocking cap.  If you have info about this “Puffer-Car” theft suspect contact EMATT at (303) 739-1699 or call APD.  Shane Anthony reporting
