01/17/15 Aurora, CO – Exclusive Report: 1AM – Four teenage car-theft suspects were hunted down by APD in a North Aurora neighborhood and taken into custody at gun-point when they were discovered hiding in a back yard between homes.  All of the dramatic police action took place around the 800 block of N. Moline Street.  First police responded to the area of 8oo N. Nile St. on reports of shots-fired.  Upon entering the area the cops discovered an abandoned GMC Envoy which had been stolen out of North East Denver about a week ago.  The stolen car was suspected to have been used in numerous crimes in both Denver and Aurora over the last week.  Aurora cops and K-9 officers swarmed the sleepy neighborhood searching for the car occupants.  After searching, the cops discovered 4 teen suspects, two males and two females from the stolen car hiding between houses in the 800 block of N. Moline St. and took them all into custody at gunpoint.  The owners of the stolen car were called to the scene to reclaim their GMC after Aurora CSI had processed the car for finger prints and evidence.  The Denver family that owns the car said they had left it running outside for less than a minute last week when it was stolen from them.  The owners were amazed that the car had not been damaged during the week long suspected crime spree and they were more than happy to reclaim their car once the cops released it to them.  Good police work APD!  Shane Anthony reporting AuroraNews1.com
