Shots fired call leads to Bomb Squad call out 01/29/15 into 01/30/15

01/30/15 Aurora, CO – Aurora Police responded to a shots-fired call late Thursday night at an apartment complex in the 15300 block of E. Arizona Ave.  When the police arrived they found a man had accidentally discharged a firearm with nobody hit by the gunfire inside an apartment, but what really caught the cops’ attention was some suspicious materials inside the home.  Police called Aurora Fire arson investigators and the Arapahoe County Bomb Squad to the complex to examine and remove the materials in question.  First responders spent most of the night at the complex.  No exact description from APD about exactly what they found in the apartment or what charges if any the occupant will face for possessing the suspicious materials that prompted the bomb squad call out.  Shane Anthony reporting AuroraNews1.com
