Buses crash on I-70 at E-470 injuring a dozen 04/17/15

04/17/15 Metro Denver Colorado – Two tour buses crashed just outside of Aurora this morning injuring several passengers and seriously injuring a bus driver.  Police say the accident occurred on a foggy segment of Westbound I-70 near E-470 around 8:20 this morning.  The buses were unrelated and were both carrying musical groups on tour to Denver.  The chain reaction collision also involved a semi truck.  The musical groups “Twin Shadow” and “Thompson Square” were the two unrelated groups traveling in separate buses at the time of the crash.  The Colorado State Patrol says “Fog and Weather are being considered as contributing factors in this crash”.  Up to a dozen people were injured in the accident.  The crash is under investigation.  Aurora PD and Fire rescue assisted the CSP with this Mass Casualty Incident.  Shane Anthony reporting AuroraNews1.com
